Last night I went to this small Ethiopian restaurant in Oakland with Shannon and Mottman. This was my first time eating Ethiopian and I was totally suprised by how good it was. Instead of using forks, knives etc... you use this really stretchy bread called injera and scoop up your food off of a big platter. We got the vegetarian platter and it was delicious! The bread tastes a little like sour-dough but feels like rubber and is really good. I think they must use alot of gluten in it to get it that way. It is flat like a pancake and a perfect utensil for scooping goodness off of a plate. Ethipian Honey Wine is a must if you go! So I have a midterm in 1 hour and 12 minutes that I am really stressed about. I have been studying for this Physics exam for the past few days and I have crammed as much info as I can in the past 3 hours. I can't wait for it to be over. I don't see myself doing very well on it but I have high expectations. I'll let you know... My beard is filling in nicely; However, I don't know how long I will keep it because it is very itchy. I have received many compliments though and I like how it makes me look very scholarly. Maybe another week or two...
