Major News, Incubus Concert
So I finally got into my major! Now I don't have to worry so much about my future... I WILL have a degree in Computer Science from The Best University offering the major. Whew! I have 3 semesters left and will spend this time focusing figuring out what part of the field I want to go into. As of now, I have enough under my belt to be competitive in the market... and I have only taken one upper-div class. Berkeley's program (along with Stanford and MIT) go way above and beyond what other school's CS departments do and I am very, very lucky to be here. Thank you State of California and thank you Zaide.
On Wednesday, Di and I went out to the city to see Incubus, one of my favorite bands. I have seen them once before, but it was before they made it really big and famous. We had the absolute best spot in the house! This particular club had a GA floor section, but it was tiered, and we were in the very front of the second tier... putting us eye-level with the band and about 20 feet back. We had a banister to lean/put drinks on, and a waitress who came by to give us booze. It was an incredible show as they played many of the hits off of previous albums as well as the best selection from the new album. See more pics here
